Gobar gas is produced by mixing dung with water.  Dung is deposited in the first tank, and washed into a domed enclosure with water.  Here the water (H2O) reacts with dung to form methane gas (CH4).  This gas remains trapped in the dome until it is needed.  Then it is piped into the kitchen to power the stove.  The outflow from the gas tank goes to a composting pit, where food waste is combined with the dung to form manure, used as fertilizer.
